For this candle design you will need two different coloured sheets. The good news is that you will still get 4 candles from the sheets, but it is slightly more challenging than a simple partial taper I described earlier.

To start cut your two sheets in half to create your two squares.

Now place your ruler on an angle from the top left corner to the bottom right (or reverse if you are left handed). Cut to create to identical triangle pieces. Repeat with the other coloured sheet.

Place one coloured triangle on top of the other colour. The bottom colour will be your dominant colour.

Measure your wick length along the straight edge and cut.

Heat the wax with a hairdryer. Pay special attention to the straight edge.

Set the wick the same as we did with the first design, then very carefully start rolling. Watch the bottom of your candle closely as you roll. You will be working with double the thickness making it more difficult and more likely to slip and start going crooked. Once again if it does go crooked, unroll, reset and start again.

As you roll you will notice a beautiful edging is created with your inside colour.

Once you are finished rolling, warm the edge and set with gentle pressure.

You can make 4 candles with two sheets of wax with this technique.
